On Friday 6th of March 2020, the British & Commonwealth Chamber of Commerce in Finland (B3CF) held its annual celebration of the International Women’s Day at Hotel St. Georges’ Winter Garden. The event was sponsored by our Patron members Edrington and Terraform / Eco Key LTD.
The event hosted by the inspiring ALEXALEX and our powerful panel featuring (Screenwriter) Anna Brotkin, (Choreographer & Artistic Director) Sonya Lindfors and (Speaker & Trainer) Peppiina Meronen expanded on some monumental and empowering discussions of the role of women in modern society as leaders and pioneers. Our host and panel strongly emphasised the approach of women to be unapologetically confident in being different and being one’s unique self, as a true virtue in blazing a trail towards accomplishments of one’s ambitions without conforming to the standards of society.
Our host ALEXALEX and our panel provided insightful perspectives through personal experiences, sending a powerful message to our guests and women everywhere on the responsibility of seizing opportunity with a boundary-less and assertive mindset towards constructing your own fate and objectives, regardless of the constraints and obstacles of life, be it personal or societal.The panel highlighted viewing setbacks as a steppingstone, a reconfiguration to redirect and ignite one’s motivation and strategy, clearing a pathway towards success.
