To mark the beginning of the 2025–2026 business season and celebrate our new strategic partnership with the British-Estonian Chamber of Commerce (BECC), a twelve-member delegation from the British & Commonwealth Chamber of Commerce in Finland travelled to Tallinn for the BECC Season Opening Garden Party. The event was held at the British Ambassador’s Residence and brought together business leaders, diplomats, and members of the UK–Baltic business community.
Our new partnership with BECC, officially announced during the event, grants B3CF members access to BECC’s full events programme and membership benefits — and vice versa. This agreement reflects our shared commitment to deepening UK–Nordic–Baltic trade and cooperation.
We extend our sincere thanks to British Ambassador Ross Allen for hosting the event, and to BECC Chairman Alan Page-Duffy for his leadership in developing this strategic initiative. The event was made possible through the generous support of Heldeke and the British Embassy in Tallinn, with additional thanks to the many businesses who sponsored the charity raffle.
Another highlight of the evening was a custom-designed bow by Matthias Fritsche, created for one of the featured vehicles. His stylish contribution, paired with a €100 prize donation, led to new business enquiries from Estonian members — a testament to the value of international, in-person networking. In addition, artist Sini Kunnas, along with her husband, Major Rauno Riekkinen generously donated a two-night stay at Rovaniemi City Apartments to the charity raffle.
The event supported two Estonian charity partners: the SA Tartu University Hospital Children’s Foundation and the Estonian Refugee Council, both doing vital work in their communities.
Feedback from the B3CF delegation was overwhelmingly positive. Matthias Fritsche said: “When I first received the invitation to this event, I was genuinely excited — I knew I’d be meeting new people. In the end, the experience far exceeded my expectations.” Jaana Komscha-Härkönen, CEO and Founder of Breaks commented: “Face-to-face, we don’t just exchange business cards — we exchange energy, ideas, and opportunities. That’s where the magic happens.”
The Tallinn Garden Party was a warm and optimistic start to the season, and a powerful reminder of the energy that cross-border collaboration can bring. We look forward to continued cooperation with our friends and partners at BECC in the year ahead.
